Advantages Large clear screen, small footprint, auto config
Disadvantages not a single one

...Out of the box, plug it in, switch on pc, absolutely no adjustments required except changing your desktop resolution. Best and maximum resolution is 1280x1024. If you have an old computer or video card then upgrade to get the full potential from this monitor. The AL1913 has a great auto config feature which is useful if you start a game or a full screen application that changes your resolution. The auto config kicks in and gives you the optimum settings without you touching a button. I upgraded fom an equally brilliant and identical looking Acer 17" model which I only had for 5 weeks. OK so I'm an impulse buyer. The wife came in and said, That monitor looks bigger today, I said, that's weird it looked bigger when I got up this morning too. I can just about see one dead pixel with a totally black screen. Text is very sharp and defined... Read review
