Not good to have
Review of Sony T 120VHGL VHS tape 120min by
jabbusch-girl
Advantages: sound
Disadvantages: tears up easily and gets stuck in vcr
I bought some of these in the past and they are ok to use. The picture quality is ok. It is very easy to record on and to play back. But at times for some reason it seems to get stuck in the vcr. It annoys me really bad. It starts tearing up the tape. The sound is really good after taping a movie. The can hold around three movies if they are not really long. It comes in handy when you are not going to be home and you need to tape something. It is ...

My own audio library
Review of Maxell Music Gold CD-R 80min by
marion
Advantages: good quality, good sound
Disadvantages: write once format
...These CD-R's ( Maxell Music Gold ) come in a spindle including 30 CD-R's They are of limited size being 700mb, 80mins but are of adequate quality to be used for both audio and data. I bought this spindle for $ 17. If you look at the Internet you can find cheaper and more expensive ones. As usual would I say.
It is a good product of good quality. They are available in different colors. In this way you can organize your audio library. I buy them quite ... ...mainly use CD-R's for music, and these give really good sound quality on my cd player. What can I say about the reliability?
I have had lots of CD-R discs that have come up with errors such as 'Disk Error' during the burning process, but the times that I have used these, I haven't had that happen once. With a 32x writing speed the process is really quick, even burning a CD with the full 80 minutes taken up. I don't always ( I know, it is not good! ...

Panasonic RT 902MC Microcassette 90min
Review of Panasonic RT 902MC Microcassette 90min by
jhergoz7
Advantages: great value for your money; 90minutes
Disadvantages: none
...keep in stock. The 2pack Panasonic RT 902MC Microcassette is very affordable and very useful for me. It has an excellent recording quality. I regularly attend Medical Conferences and meetings so I regularly use my Panasonic microcassette recorder with me to record the minutes of the meeting or speeches. It is 90 minutes, so imagine if I set the tape recorder speed to 2x and multiply it by two for side A and side B, then I could instantly record the ... ...digital recording format since with the digital format, the only way to record again is to erase and record over the previously recorded data. By the way you could also use the Panasonic RT 902MC Microcassette 90min for your answering machines that still uses tapes. This product is highly recommended. ...

Sony CRM 80 CD-R 80min
Review of Sony CRM 80 CD-R 80min by
aarthi2008
Advantages: reliable, efficient
Disadvantages: cost
Sony Cds are the most reliable ones in the market according to me. I have lots of CDs which i buy to back up my data. So far i have had no problems in copying from them when required.
This is an age of computers and when i work on analysis softwares that we have in our office, i end up getting lots of data which i have to back up. otherwise i will end up wasting time in rerunning all those analysis. So i have to take back up every week at least.
... ...I had nightmares some months ago when the CDs didn't read at all. This meant that the data i had backed up are all gone. thats why, i rely on Sony for the complete satisfied backing up of my data. i also use them for quality audio and video recording. ...

Great performance for a lower price
Review of Maxell Maxell 30min by
AstroK1
Advantages: Less expensive than most otehr brands
Disadvantages: Annoying pop-up messages if you use camcorders of otehr brands
...found a great deal on Maxell DVD-R disks at Walmart and decided to give them a try. I see absolutely no difference between the Maxell and the Sony disks. I have been using Maxell disks for over two years now and am yet to be disappointed. Needless to say, if you find packs of 5, 10, or more Maxell disks, you'll save a lot of money, but even as single units they offer a great value for a low price. You will find that the price in different stories ...
