I bought some of these in the past and they are ok to use. The picture quality is ok. It is very easy to record on and to play back. But at times for some reason it seems to get stuck in the vcr. It annoys me really bad. It starts tearing up the tape. The sound is really good after taping a movie. The can hold around three movies if they are not really long. I have had lots of CD-R discs that have come up with errors such as 'Disk Error' during the burning process, but the times that I have used these, I haven't had that happen once. Sony Cds are the most reliable ones in the market according to me. I have lots of CDs which i buy to back up my data. So far i have had no problems in copying from them when required. This is an age of computers and when i work on analysis softwares that we have in our office, i end up getting lots of data which i have to back up. otherwise i will end up wasting time in rerunning all those analysis. ...found a great deal on Maxell DVD-R disks at Walmart and decided to give them a try. I see absolutely no difference between the Maxell and the Sony disks. I have been using Maxell disks for over two years now and am yet to be disappointed.
