Advantages: Beautiful display, speedy processor, stable and reliable operating system.
Disadvantages: Only 1GB of RAM standard, non-upgradable video card, glossy display may become irritating.

The ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT graphics card is pretty adequate for viewing high definition video or doing some casual gaming or video editing, though hardcore gamers and video editors won't find it quite satisfactory, and if that's the case, you may want to consider the Mac Pro, Apple's high-end desktop. Unfortunately, this graphics card is not upgradable, which is probably the only real disadvantage of the system as a whole. The iMac may not be for those who rely on having the most up-to-date graphics card. The iMac comes with a glossy display as I mentioned earlier, and glossy displays have received some criticism lately for reflective glares in brightly lit rooms, or when used in direct sunlight.
