 The littlest behemoth in UMPC technology

Advantages: mobile and easy to use, cheap, reliable
Disadvantages: limited storage space and no integrated bluetooth connectivity option
This is Asus' 1st attempt on the UMPC (Ultra Mobile Personal Computer) technology. I bought one last April and so far it hasn't failed me on my expectations. First of all, it is indeed cheap considering its manufactured by a trusted name in the world of computers, specially motherboards. The EeePC comes in with a 4GB SSD (Solid State Hard drive), a 7-inch LCD with a screen resolution supporting up to 800X400 pixels. The speakers are positioned on ...

Reliable, portable, and great for work

Advantages: Easy to carry, doesn't break easily, good connectivity and keyboard
Disadvantages: Battery life could be better
I bought one of these a couple of months ago because even though there are a few newer models out there, I found this one for about $280 including shipping on buy.com. I decided not to pay extra for the version with a webcam and have never missed it. This machine is about half way between a PDA and a laptop, while it is very small, light, and easy to carry anywhere, it has a full keyboard that allows you to get real work done.
