I need a small, portable and high performance laptop that I could carry around with me without feeling like I was toting around a small baby. It works right out of the box and is pre loaded with productivity software (Open Office), media explorers / players (Picture organizer, movie player, music library organizer and player), Learning software and games. It is very customizeable, too. It is small and light, and very portable. The size of a standard hardcover book, it fits nearly anywhere; totes, messenger bags, briefcase, ...
...don't expect this little jewel to fulfill all your needs. It does not have an optical drive and the built in SSD is only 2 GB. The operating system and applications take 1.7 GB. It is great as a second, highly mobile computer. But you have options for storage, such as USB drives and SD cards.
