It has 32meg of sdram which is a good standard and is enough to run most games and applications at a decent speed. ...I have had this VOODOO 4 Graphics card in my amazing Compaq Presario 5000 for about 2 years now, and it still works as fine the day i got it. The Voodoo 4 4500 PCI graphics card is engineered around the old VSA-100 2D/3D graphics processor from 3DFX. Apparently the Voodoo 4 4500 PCI graphics card has an extra 25% more power and performance than any other graphics card ever, take for example the Voodoo 3 graphics card. Unfortunate for some the Voodoo 4 graphics card is only compatible for Windows 95 or 98. I am currently running on windows XP professional which is working but not as good as it should of done if i was using a Windows 98 operating system. The best part of this card is that it has a 60Hz to 160Hz refresh rate. Now that is what i call fast. It also offers Full API support like Direct X, Glide and Open GL. Also... Read review

...The reason I bought one of these boards was because I wanted the most powerful board I could get but one which was made in PCI specification as my computer has no AGP slot. The Voodoo4 4500 uses a single 32Mb 3dfx VSA-100 chip capable of 333 Megapixels per second and running at 350Mhx, 2.5 times quicker than my old Voodoo3 2000. And it is certainly noticeable! ...as soon as you reboot after installing the drivers i have tried alot of different drivers all with the same result. this isnt just a voodoo 4 problem i believe the voodoo 3 is has the same problem aswell. I sent an e-mail to the pc-ships support team and they replied with we have tested our mainboards only with nvidia products which is fair enough as they own about 90% of the market now. Anyway besides that i think this is a great card and if you are buying one of these it's a good choice but just bear in mind the pc-chips issue.
