Advantages Great Value for money Disadvantages Become a bit dated as technology advances
...I have a Voodoo32000 In my older computer, and belive me, its a very powerful alternative to the more expensive voodoos and other brands available. Its able to withstand a lot of demanding grafics and still deliver them at high speeds, but being cheaper than the Voodoo3 3000 and above its definately worth considering if you are not a complete gaming fanatic. Another good aspect of this card is that it is available in all sorts of sizes and interfaces (16MB, 8MB .etc and PCI/AGP Compatiable. I have found using that this product that there have been no problems whatsoever, and for people who just want a reliable, but "fast when it has to be" card this is ideal....

Advantages Brilliant Entry-Level 3D Card Disadvantages Not the top performer anymore
...I upgraded my PC some months ago, and chose the 3DfxVoodoo32000 as my graphics card. I had done a lot of research prior to my purchase, and decided it was the best choice. Although the card itself is beginning to get old, it is still a very good choice for anyone on a budget. There is very little difference between the 2000 and 3000 models, other than the speed, but you can change this with a utility from 3Dfx.
I have had no problems at all with this 3d accelator, and all of my games run and look a lot better than with my old ATi card. Installation was a breeze, Win98 automatically recognised the card and asked for the driver disk. The drivers from 3Dfx keep getting better and better, so it is important to check the website for updates regularly. The drivers for this card are written to take advantage of the AMD 3D Now! extensions, so...

Advantages good for older systems with no AGP, reasonably cheap Disadvantages only 16 Mb memory, not massively fast, no 32 bit
...The Voodoo32000 was the basic 16 Mb version of the then new offering from 3dfx, the Voodoo3. The distinguishing features between the different models of the Voodoo3 range ie 2000,3000,3500 were basically a quicker chipset as you move up and also the introduction of TV-out and little features like this. Also the core graphical processor unit speed was increased throughout the range upto a maximum 166 MHz which isnt a bad speed for a card of its generation.
However you'd be foolish to ignore the faults of this card. Firstly its not that particularly quick with things like S3's Savage 4 equalling it and Nvidias TNT2 also an equal and both these at lower cost. Secondly theres the old 3dfx problem of none of the Voodoo3 range of cards being able to do 32 bit colour, they are only capable of 24 bit colour so even though in a game you set...
