A ClearTek sensor with Industrial Etch has been tested in a laboratory environment to withstand over 225 million mechanical touches without noticeable degradation to the surface. Resistive 5-wire touch technology provides fast, accurate, and reliable touch when input flexibility is the most important consideration. Resistive 5-wire responds to the touch of fingernails, credit cards, gloved hands and fingers. Resistive 5-wire technology has been tested in a laboratory environment to withstand 35 million mechanical touches without noticeable degradation to the surface.
